Born out of a rep organization.
The original founders where involved with the
importing of Nucon airlocks from New Zealand. On or
around 1992 this group had a falling out partially
caused by a New Zealand-American dollar issue. They
separated and started Savel. Two products where
developed rotary airlocks and divert valves.
In 1995 Savel was purchased. The key was the rotary
airlocks and its USDA acceptance. Work began to
improve the product and develop manufacturing
methods for mass production. Core process convey
components where also developed specifically for the
sanitary industry.
Through the years we have developed a reputation in
the demanding contract manufacturing industry. This
industry takes quick take apart and clean to a high
level. Our products survived and developed with the
help of our customers. Through the years we have
built great equipment and even greater relationships
with our customers.
We have most recently moved into our new building
located in Centerville Minnesota.
Our new location was selected primarily because of
the location. We are now located within a 9 mile
radius of all of our fabricating/machining/controls
facilities and within 10 miles of downtown St Paul,
MN.
